PUIG's INTERMITENTS STAR indicators are available in two versions: short arm (69x42mm) and long arm (89x42mm), both of which allow optimal adaptation to different motorcycle styles. Two types of turn signal covers are also offered: tinted and clear, providing further personalization options.

PUIG also offers a selection of replacement bulbs in 12v-23W and 12v-6W specifications, available in Amber and Clear. These lamps come in packs of 10, making replacement and maintenance easy.

Technical information about turn signal installation

Motorcycles typically use bimetallic relays whose flashing frequency depends on the current in the circuit. When the original turn signals are replaced with ones with different performance, this current intensity changes and thus also the flashing frequency. However, when using electronic relays, the frequency remains constant regardless of the current strength.

When replacing turn signal bulbs, you should ensure that the replacement bulbs have the same wattage as the originals. For LED turn signals, which have lower power than incandescent bulbs, there are two ways to adjust the flashing frequency:

  • Using a resistor in parallel with the circuit on both sides of the motorcycle. When replacing all four indicators, resistor Ref. 4298O should be used.
  • Replacing the existing flasher relay with a suitable model from our range to ensure the correct function of the hazard warning system.

These adjustments allow for seamless integration and functionality of the PUIG INTERMITENTS STAR indicators into your KTM RC390, improving both aesthetics and visibility.
