This new version of the AXP underrun protection retains the proven features of the previous model and also brings important improvements. One of the most significant changes is the improved protection of the fuel tank. By covering the fuel pump and inserting a foam pad between the protector and the pump, friction and paint chipping are effectively prevented.

The redesign of the underrun guard also makes it easier to install the KTM fuel pump. The fender has been strategically positioned in front of the panel to prevent melting and eliminate front fender issues. The welds have been reinforced and complemented by 4mm thick alloy parts inside the plate, increasing overall stability and longevity.

A small but important detail is the hole on the right side of the engine guard that allows a hose to pass through. This feature can be particularly useful when installing additional accessories that have specific wiring or hose routing requirements.
