The cruise control speed stabilizer offers an innovative solution for motorcyclists who want to maintain a constant speed without constant manual intervention. This device is specifically designed to make long-distance driving less strenuous and safer.
The KAOKO cruise control speed stabilizer is a sophisticated device that can fix the motorcycle's throttle grip in a desired position. This is achieved through a special friction nut that is an integral part of a special Kaoko™ bar end weight. This handlebar end weight is optically and weight-matched to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) handlebar end weight. Installation is simple in most cases and simply requires removing the OEM bar end weight and attaching the Kaoko kit.
To activate the cruise control, the friction nut is pinched between the little finger and the palm of the hand during acceleration. This action tightens the nut and creates enough friction to hold the throttle grip in the desired position. The friction is adjusted so that the driver can still open and close the throttle grip, but with slight resistance.
To deactivate the cruise control, the friction nut is loosened between the little finger and the palm of the hand while coasting, allowing the throttle grip to open and close freely.
Installing the Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer Kit can be done quickly and easily yourself. Each kit comes with unique and specific assembly instructions. In most cases, all you need to do is remove the OEM throttle end and replace it with the Kaoko kit.
