Improved features and versatility

Unlike its predecessor, the Gen I, the Gen II CANsmart can deliver a continuous output of 10 amps to all four circuits. Each circuit can be individually configured for different types of accessories. There are also new auxiliary light settings that increase visibility by modulating the auxiliary lights and provide the ability to independently control the left and right side lights when the turn signal is activated.

The DENALI CANsmart™ Controller GEN II offers numerous customization options and security features:

• High/Low Sync - Programmable high/low setting for auxiliary headlights, controlled by the factory high beam switch.
• ON/OFF and dimming - Independent control and dimming of two groups of headlights.
• Modulating headlights - increasing visibility through modulating additional headlights.
• Headlight flasher for overtaking - Rapid flashing of the additional headlights by pressing the high beam switch three times.
• Switch off with the turn signal - the corresponding additional light is switched off when the turn signal is activated.
• Inverse Flashing With Hazards - Increased visibility in emergencies by flashing in the opposite direction to the hazard warning lights.
• Plug & Play Horn Installation - Easily connect powerful aftermarket horns without additional wiring harness or relay.
• Strobe with horn - Automatic flashing of the additional headlights when the horn is pressed.
• Deceleration activated "Smart Brake" technology - Activates the brake light based on vehicle speed even before the brake is touched.
• Flashing Pattern Braking - Different flashing patterns to increase the visibility of the brake lights.
• Circuit Function Selector Switch - Flexible assignment of accessories to each of the four circuits.
