The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the motorcycle model Kawasaki ZZ-R 1100 of the years 1990 to 1992. It serves the safe attachment of a tank bag and ensures easy handling.

Technical details and scope of delivery

The scope of delivery includes the tanking basic and an adaptable counter holder. This can be installed depending on the tank shape and the handlebars on the tank bag. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even when tanking is attached.

Funktionsweise und Kompatibilität

The tanking enables a mechanical lock of the tank bag, which clicks on audibly. The backpack is removed by simply unlocking using a belt. There is no general operating license (ABE) or entry in the vehicle documents in Germany for the use of the tanking system.

Additional Information

The basic version of the tanking has a purely mechanical locking, in contrast to the Lock-IT fenkringen, which are also equipped with magnets for centering. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It should be noted that tank bags and counterholder have to come from the same system in order to be compatible.
