Kawasaki Z 900 [2017-2024] - Tanking Basic including counterpart tank sac

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the motorcycle models Kawasaki Z 900 and Z 900 SE from the construction years 2017 to 2024. This accessories are used for securing a tank bag and is particularly user -friendly due to its tailor -made fit.

Properties of the tanking basic

This tanking enables the tank bag to be installed stably and safely without affecting the use of the tank lid. The assembly of the counter holder adapts individually to the shape of the tank and the handlebar impact, which enables flexible attachment.

Technical details

• The tanking ensures a stable hold, even when driving at higher speeds.
• The operation is carried out via a mechanical lock, which enables a clearly audible snapping of the tank bag.
• The backpack is unlocked simply by pressing a belt on the front part of the backpack in the direction of travel.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is necessary for tank sack systems.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

While the Basic tanking only offers a mechanical lock, the Lock-IT tanking also supports magnet in centering the backpack. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

In addition, it should be noted that tank bags and counterholder must be compatible. A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder cannot be mounted on a basic tanking and vice versa.
