The cruise control speed stabilizer offers motorcyclists an innovative solution to control the throttle position and improve riding comfort on long journeys. This intelligent accessory combines functionality with safety to ensure a relaxed journey.
A throttle stabilizer is a throttle control mechanism that allows the driver to fix the throttle at a desired position. The Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer kit consists of a clever and robust friction nut integrated into a special Kaoko™ bar end weight. This weight is similar in appearance and weight to the manufacturer's original accessories and is usually simply installed in place of the original handlebar end weight.
To activate the stabilizer bar, the friction nut is pinched between the pinky finger and palm during acceleration, which tightens the nut, creating enough friction to hold the throttle in the desired position. To deactivate, during deceleration, the friction nut is again grasped between the little finger and the palm of the hand, whereby the throttle should be able to move freely and snap easily back to the starting position.
Wondering if you can install the Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer yourself? Each Kaoko kit includes unique and specific assembly instructions. Installation is quick and easy and can be completed in just a few minutes. In most cases, installing the Kaoko cruise control simply requires removing the original handlebar end weight on the throttle grip side and replacing it with the Kaoko kit.
