The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 models from the construction years 2017 to 2020. This accessory is used to secure and easily attach a corresponding tank bag directly on the motorcycle.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counter holder, which is installed depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar. The assembly of the tankring does not affect the accessibility of the tank cover, which can still be opened without any problems.

Only in combination with a tank bag for the models mentioned is the tanking fully functional. Information on compatible models can be found in the "Mein Bike" database or via the checklist in the online shop.

• Safe hold of the tank bag, even at high driving speeds
• Easy handling through a mechanical locking
• Put on and acoustic lock of the tank bag on the tanking
• Unlocking takes place via a belt on the tank backpack
• No general operating license (ABE) necessary in Germany
• Recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking works through a purely mechanical lock, in contrast to the Lock-IT fenkringen, which also use magnets for centering. The basis of the tanking, a metal ring, is identical in both variants.

It should be noted that tank bags with a lock-IT counter holder are not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa.
