The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the motorcycle model Kawasaki ER-6N from the year of construction 2012 to 2016. This product enables a safe and easy assembly of a tank bag directly on the machine's fuel tank.

Product features

• The tanking ensures stable attachment of the tank bag, even at high driving speeds.
• The system has a mechanical lock that enables simple handling.
• The tank bag can be safely fixed on the tanking with a clearly audible click.
• A mechanism is used to loosen the tank bag, which is operated by a climulation on the front of the backpack.
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry in the vehicle documents is required for the use of the tank bag system.
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The maximum payload for the tank bag should not exceed about 3 kg.

More information

The basic tanking is mechanically locked and thereby differs from the lock-it tanking, which also uses magnets to center. Both tanking variants have the same model-specific metal ring, but the screwed-up components (plastic domes in the basic, magnetic domes for lock-ort) differ.

It is important to note that tank sac counter -counter and tanking must be compatible and should come from the same system to ensure correct assembly and function.

The scope of delivery of the BASIC tanking includes the tanking itself and the corresponding counter holder, which is mounted on the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and handlebar. Access to the tank cover remains without restrictions even when fueling fueling.
