Hepco & Becker's tanking Basic is specially designed for the Scout Bobber, Scout Sixty, Scout Twenty and Scout Rogue from the construction years 2017 to 2024. This product makes it easier to attach a compatible tank bag from Hepco & Becker to your machine.

The scope of delivery of this system includes the tanking basic, which is installed directly on the motorcycle tank. In addition, the set includes a customizable counter holder that is attached to the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar. Even with assembled tanking, access to the tank cover remains unimpeded.

The installation of the tanking enables a secure and solid basis for the tank bag, which is simply put on and audibly locked.

Properties of the tanking basic

• Safe hold of the tank bag, even at higher speeds
• Easy handling through mechanical locking
• Audible snaps in the assembly of the tank bag
• Unlocking by pressing a belt on the tank bag in the direction of travel
• No special operating license (ABE) required in Germany
• Recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
• Recommended maximum payload: approx. 3 kg
• Consideration of the specific manufacturer's information required by the motorcycle

Differences between lock-it and basic tankingen

While the basic functionality and operation of both tanking models is identical, the basic tanking is different from its purely mechanical locking. The Lock-IT fenkring also supports magnets in centering the tank bag.

Please note that tank bags and counterholder must be system -compatible. A lock-IT counter holder is not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa.
