The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the motorcycle model Honda XL 700 V Transalp from the construction years 2008 to 2012. This accessory enables a secure and easy attachment of a compatible tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

In addition to the ring, the scope of delivery of the tanking basic also includes a suitable counter holder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and the impact angle of the handlebar. The assembly of the tankers continues to allow uncomplicated opening of the fuel cap.

The installation of the tanking only requires this component and a suitable tank bag for the motorcycle model mentioned. The tanking is stored in a specific database for every model, which simplifies the compatibility test.

Additional Information

The basic tanking has a purely mechanical lock in contrast to the Lock-IT fenkringen, which are also equipped with magnets for centering. Both systems use the same basic metal ring, but differ in the fastening technology on the tanking itself.

It is important to note that tank sac countertakers and tanking must be from the same system to ensure compatibility.
