Honda VfR 800 [2002-2013] - Tanking Basic including counterpart tank sac

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the motorcycle model Honda VfR 800, built in 2002 to 2013. This article enables a safe and easy attachment of a tank bag to the machine.

The scope of delivery of this product includes the tanking and the corresponding counterholder, which is attached to the tank bag depending on the tank shape and handlebar. The fuel lid can also be easily opened with assembled tanking.

• Stable hold, even at high speeds

• Clearly audible snaps in the Hepco & Becker tank bag on the tanking
• Unlocking by a belt on the tank bag in the direction of travel
• No ABE or entry in vehicle documents in Germany necessary
• Recommended top speed with assembled tank bag: 130 km/h
• Recommended maximum payload: approx. 3 kg

The basic tanking differs from the lock-it tanking by the type of locking. While the lock-IT fueling also works with magnets for centering, the locking is purely mechanical for the basic model. However, both models use the same model -specific metal ring.

It should be noted that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder cannot be installed on a basic tank ring and vice versa. The components must be of the same system.
