Product description: Tanking Basic for Honda VfR 800

This tanking basic from Hepco & Becker is specially designed for the Honda VfR 800 models from 1998 to 2001. It is used to secure a compatible tank bag directly on the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

The scope of delivery of this product includes the tanking and a suitable counter holder, which, depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebars of the motorcycle, can be attached to the tank bag. Even with assembled tanking, access to the fuel cap remains without restrictions.

The installation of the tanking enables easy and safe attachment of the tank bag. With a mechanical lock, the backpack is securely fixed on the tanking and can be quickly removed from a simple mechanism.

Differences to other tanking systems

The basic tanking differs from the lock-it tanking by the type of locking. While the lock-IT fueling also works with magnets for centering, the locking is purely mechanical for the basic model. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

Further information: A tank bag with Lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that both components come from the same system.
