The GIVI Sport-Touring TanklockED tank bag for the VFR 1200 F model (built between 2010 and 2016) is characterized by its high functionality and safety features. This tank bag is specially developed for the needs of touring motorcyclists and, in addition to a robust design, also offers practical features for everyday use.

Material description

The main material of the tank bag is thermoformed EVA coated with 600D polyester and PU. These materials are UV resistant to ISO 4892-2:3013 and have passed 500 hours of exposure in a closed Q-Sun Xenon chamber. In addition, all materials used are REACH-compliant.

Features and functions

• The backpack has reflective elements for improved visibility.
• A rain cover is included to protect the contents from moisture.
• A carrying handle and an adjustable shoulder strap make it easy to transport outside the motorcycle.
• The Security Lock System allows it to be securely attached to the motorcycle, and the tank bag can also be attached or removed without a key. The key is only needed to lock the backpack when the motorcycle is unattended.
• The backpack is compatible with the GIVI Powerhub charging system for electronic devices.
• A 100% waterproof, removable smartphone holder expands the usage possibilities.

The assembly is carried out using a specific tank ring (model BF, sold separately), which allows the tank bag to be attached quickly and easily. Please note that the tank bag is delivered empty and assembly by qualified personnel is recommended.
