What are Throttle Stabilizers?

A throttle stabilizer is a throttle control mechanism that allows the driver to fix the throttle in a desired position. This Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer Kit includes a simple, ingenious and robustly constructed friction nut that is firmly connected to a special Kaoko™ bar end weight. This handlebar end weight is optically and weight-matched to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) handlebar end weight.

How the Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer Works:

To activate the stabilizer, the friction nut is pinched between the little finger and the palm of the hand while accelerating. This action tightens the nut and creates enough friction to lock the throttle in the desired position. To deactivate, the nut is also gripped when releasing the accelerator, whereupon the throttle valve should open and close freely.
