This one was specially developed for the Honda CB 900 Hornet (years 2016-2020). Top case carrier from GIVI enables the attachment of Monokey or Monolock cases. Installation requires additional adapter plates such as the MONOKEY plates M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B or the MONOLOCK plates M5M and M6M, which are not included in the scope of delivery. It is also possible to use the EX2M luggage rack made of anodized aluminum.

The maximum load varies depending on the system used: Monokey cases can be loaded with up to 10 kg; if one of the plates M8A, M8B, M9A or M9B is used, the weight is reduced to 6 kg. A maximum load of 3 kg applies to Monolock cases.

Installation and compatibility

The carrier must be installed directly on the vehicle frame. It should be noted that when using plates M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B, it is not possible to install brake lights or a remote control. GIVI points out that its products are designed exclusively for vehicles in their original condition. Compatibility with accessories from other manufacturers, such as modified exhaust systems, cannot therefore be guaranteed.
