The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Honda CL 500 model for the construction years 2023 to 2025. This product enables a safe and easy assembly of a tank bag directly on the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

The tanking basic is designed exclusively for use with the corresponding Hepco & Becker tank bags. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counter holder, which is mounted depending on the shape of the tank and handlebar. Access to the tank cover remains without restrictions even with fueling fueling.

Differences to other systems

Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for the centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. Both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, but differ in the type of essays on the ring.

It should be noted that tank bags and counterholder within the same system must be compatible in order to ensure correct function. A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking and Vice Versa.
