To Activation of the cruise control, the driver grips the friction nut with his little finger and the palm of his hand while turning the throttle grip. This movement tightens the nut and creates enough friction to adjust the gas opening as desired. The friction is designed so that the driver can continue to open and close the throttle, but with slight resistance.

To Disable the driver grips the friction nut again while turning back the throttle. The gas should now open freely and close automatically when deactivated correctly.
