What is a cruise control speed stabilizer?

A cruise control speed stabilizer is a throttle control mechanism that allows the driver to fix the throttle grip at a desired position. The Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer Kit consists of an ingeniously simple and robustly constructed friction nut that is integrated into a special Kaoko™ bar end weight. This weight is similar in appearance and weight to that of the original manufacturer and usually simply replaces the existing bar end weight.

KAOKO Cruise Control Speed Stabilizer Operation:

To activate the stabilizer, the friction nut can be held between the little finger and the palm of the hand during acceleration. This increases friction and fixes the throttle grip in the desired position, allowing the throttle grip to still be moved but with a slight resistance. To deactivate the system, while releasing the throttle grip, grab the friction nut again so that the throttle grip moves freely and closes smoothly.

Security is the top priority with this product: it cannot jam, can be overridden immediately, its operation is intuitive and it is trusted by well-known distributors in the USA, Europe and Australia. Additionally, the product comes with a 5-year functional warranty, although it is expected to last the life of the motorcycle.

Installing the Kaoko Throttle Stabilizer Kit is easy and can be done yourself in just a few minutes. In most cases all that is required is removing the original bar end weight and attaching the Kaoko kit.
