The ignition module for Harley Davidson Dyna models from 1999 to 2003 offers improved engine output through advanced tuning options. It enables the ignition time to optimize the ignition time with predefined premature curves and the possibility to program individual curves.
The module supports the J1850 data bus, which enables seamless integration into the existing vehicle system. It communicates effectively with the instrument cluster and the turn signal/safety module (TSM/TSSM). In addition, it offers compatibility with Harley-Davidson Scan tools, which allow, among other things, to adapt the speedometer and the odometer after changes to tires or gearboxes.
A special function is the integrated data recording that stores the last 30 minutes of engine operation. This function is particularly valuable for engine builders for fine -tuning, error diagnosis and minimizing unjustified warranty claims.
The associated demosoftware can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website and enables the creation of custom curves. A USB interface cable is required to use the software.
