DUCATI 996 [1999-2002] - Radial brake cylinder

The Brembo radial brake cylinder, specially designed for street motorcycles, offers optimal readiness and perfectly modulated braking performance under all conditions of use. The outstanding linearity between the force exerted on the lever and the braking reaction characterizes this high-quality product.

A special feature of this brake cylinder is the Brembo patented RCS system for adjusting the distance of the lever center. This allows the driver to adjust the braking behavior in just a few seconds using a simple screwdriver - from aggressive and reactive (20 mm) to softer and more modulated (18 mm).

The cylinder uses a 19mm diameter piston and features a long, folding lever (LL), a feature particularly popular with racing drivers and track enthusiasts. Brembo ensures that only the most advanced processes are used to ensure excellent operational performance. The main body of the aluminum alloy brake cylinder is made by forging and then processed by numerically controlled equipment.

An oxidation was chosen for the surface refinement, which is commonly used in MotoGP and Superbike. This contributes to durability and performance and confirms Brembo's commitment to quality and innovation in motorcycle racing.
