DUCATI 848 [2011] - Radial brake cylinder

The Brembo HPK 19 RCS radial brake cylinder has been specially developed for street motorcycles and offers optimal operational readiness and perfectly modulated braking performance under all usage conditions. The outstanding linearity between the force exerted on the lever and the braking reaction characterizes this high-quality product.

This brake cylinder features Brembo's patented RCS system, which allows adjustment of the lever center distance. This allows the braking feel to be ideally tailored to the connection between driver and motorcycle. With a simple screwdriver, the braking system can be adjusted to be either more aggressive and reactive (20 mm) or softer and more modulated (18 mm) within a few seconds.

The cylinder uses a 19mm diameter piston and a long folding lever (LL), which is particularly popular with racing drivers and track driving enthusiasts. Brembo relies exclusively on advanced processes to guarantee excellent functionality and performance. The main body of the aluminum alloy brake cylinder is made by forging and then processed by numerically controlled equipment.

Oxidation was chosen for the surface refinement, as is normally used in MotoGP and Superbike. This ensures lasting quality and performance in the most demanding conditions.
