The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the BMW S 1000 RR models from the years of construction 2009 to 2011. This accessory is used to secure a suitable tank bag directly on the motorcycle.

The scope of delivery of this product includes the tanking itself and an adaptable counter holder that is installed depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar attack on the tank bag. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which makes it easier to use in everyday life.

No further accessories are necessary to install the tanking, except for a compatible tank bag for the models mentioned. The assembly is easy to carry out through the precise instructions and model specifications.

Comparison between basic and lock-IT fenkringen

While the basic tanking only offers a mechanical locking, the lock-IT tanking supports the centering with additional magnets. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, whereby the differences are only shown in the elements attached.

It is important to note that tank bags and counterholder within the same system must be compatible in order to ensure correct function.
