This tanking basic from Hepco & Becker is specially designed for the motorcycle model BMW R NINET URBAN G/S of the construction years 2017 to 2023. It serves to secure tank bags of the same manufacturer on the machine.

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and the corresponding counterholder, which is attached to the tank shape and the handlebar impact on the tank bag. Even when fueled fuel, access to the fuel cap remains unimpeded.

The installation of the tanking enables easy and safe attachment of the tank bag. The backpack is placed on the ring and locks itself with a clearly audible click, which signals a correct assembly. To remove the backpack, the release mechanism, which is located on the front of the tank backpack, is operated.

Differences to other tanking systems

Compared to the Lock-IT fueling from Hepco & Becker, which also work with magnets for centering, the Basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring.

It is important to note that tank bags and counterholder within the same system must be compatible in order to ensure correct function.
