Cruise control speed stabilizer operation

To activate the cruise control, the friction nut can be clamped between the little finger and the palm of the hand while accelerating. This action tightens the nut and creates enough friction to lock the throttle in the desired position. The friction is adjusted so that the driver can still open and close the throttle, albeit with a slight resistance.

To deactivate the cruise control, the driver grasps the friction nut between his little finger and the palm of his hand while releasing the accelerator. The throttle should open and close freely when properly deactivated.
