Overview

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the motorcycle model BMW R NINET PURE from the year of construction 2017 to 2023. This accessory enables a safe and easy attachment of a corresponding tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

Scope of delivery and assembly

The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counter holder that is installed depending on the tank shape and the handlebar attack on the tank bag. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which makes use easier.

Features and functions

• The tank backpack is securely fixed on the tank ring by a mechanical lock and can be quickly removed from a simple mechanism.
• The locking of the tank backpack is audible, which offers additional security.
• The maximum recommended speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h.
• The load capacity of the tank bag should not exceed 3 kg.
• There is no general operating license (ABE) or entry in the vehicle documents in Germany for using the fueling system.

Special features of basic tanking

Compared to the Lock-IT system from Hepco & Becker, which also uses magnets for centering, the basic tanking offers a purely mechanical lock. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring as the basis.
