BMW R 1300 GS ADVENTURE [2023-2025] - Guard set

The protection bar set from Akrapovic, specially developed for the BMW R 1300 GS and R 1300 GS Adventure models of 2024, represents a state-of-the-art solution for motorcycle protection. Manufactured from 25mm sandblasted titanium tubes, this set features significant weight reduction and improved corrosion resistance. Weighing just 3.02 kg, it is approximately 40% lighter than comparable stainless steel versions, but offers the same high-strength mechanical properties.

This protective bar set was developed to effectively protect the engine of the BMW R 1300 GS. The construction is partially attached to the chassis to optimally distribute the forces in the event of an impact. It integrates seamlessly into the motorcycle's components and has been fully evaluated through numerous tests and deformation analyses. Akrapovic's precise engineering and attention to detail guarantee that the guard set does not restrict the angle of inclination of the motorcycle and meets ABE type approval.

Additionally, the set includes 2.5mm thick carbon fiber protectors that provide structural strength and can be replaced by the end user if damaged. The high quality TIG welding and precisely manufactured 10mm flanges ensure a perfect fit and extra strength. The design is rounded off by the engraved Akrapovic logo and the prominently placed “Titanium” lettering, which emphasizes the use of this high-quality material.

Once installed, the protective bar set offers the option of attaching additional bags as well as fog and search lights from BMW and other manufacturers to the bars. We recommend installation by a qualified mechanic to ensure optimal function and safety. This product is compatible with BMW Option 719.
