The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the motorcycle model BMW R 12 G of the built -in year 2025 and beyond. This accessory is used to secure a tank bag secure directly on the fuel tank of the motorcycle. The scope of delivery includes the tanking and an adaptable counter holder, which is attached to the specific tank shape and the handlebars on the tank bag.

The assembly of the tankring continues to enable the tank cover without any problems. No other parts are necessary for the installation except a compatible tank bag for the BMW R 12 g model. Difference between lock-it and basic tankingen:

Both tanking variants basically work equally, but the locking is purely mechanically in the basic model, without support from magnets that contribute to the centering in the lock-IT model. The basis of the tanking, the model -specific metal ring, is identical in both variants.

It should be noted that a tank bag with a lock-IT counterholder cannot be installed on a basic tank ring and vice versa. The counter holder and the tanking must be of the same system.
