The AXP Adventure underrun protection made of HDPE 8mm is a high-quality protective component for the BMW F900GS motorcycle model. This underbody protection has been specially developed for demanding off-road conditions and offers comprehensive protection for important motorcycle parts.

Product features

The skid plate is made of 8mm thick high density polyethylene (HDPE), a material known for its high strength and lightness. Not only is HDPE stronger than carbon fiber, but it is also 30 to 40% lighter than aluminum equivalents. After an impact, the material returns to its original shape, allowing it to slide over obstacles without getting stuck.

The front and rear mounting systems are bolted directly to the engine block, with a wedge system providing additional strength. To prevent friction and absorb shock, 8mm thick foams are attached to the sides and under the engine block.
