This underrun protection is specifically designed for the BMW F900GS and is compatible with Outback Motortek crash bars. Made from high density polyethylene plastic (HDPE), the 8mm thick mudguard provides full protection of the engine block, exhaust and crankcase. Not only is it stronger than carbon, it is also 30 to 40% lighter than comparable aluminum products.

A special feature is the wedge system, which provides additional stability by bolting the front and rear mounting systems directly to the engine block. There is also an 8 mm thick foam underneath the motor to effectively absorb shocks. After an impact, the material returns to its original shape, making it easier to slide over obstacles.
