Product description: Hepco & Becker Tankring Basic for BMW F 650

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the BMW F 650 models from the years 1997 to 2000. This product is characterized by its functionality and simple handling and serves to secure a corresponding tank bag directly on the motorcycle.

Scope of delivery and assembly

In addition to the tanking, the delivery of the tanking basic contains an adaptable counter holder, which is installed depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebars on the tank bag. The installation continues to enable unrestricted access to the fuel cap, which simplifies the use considerably.

Compatibility and security

The tanking basic is designed exclusively for use with Hepco & Becker tank bags for the BMW F 650/ST. The assembly of the tank bag on the tanking is carried out by a mechanical locking, which signals a clearly audible snap. An unlocking of the backpack is easy by actuating a belt that is located at the front of the tank bag.

The tanking basic differs primarily from the LOCK-IT system by the type of locking, since the basic tanking is mechanically locked, while the Lock-IT tanking also uses magnets for centering.

Additional information: A tank bag with lock-IT counterholder is not compatible with the basic tanking and vice versa. It is important that both the counter holder and the tanking come from the same system.
