The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic is specially designed for the Aprilia Tuono 457 motorcycle model from 2025. It is used to secure a tank bag and is characterized by its simple handling and high functionality.

Components and assembly

The tanking basic is included in the delivery of the tanking basic and an adaptable counterholder. This counter holder can be attached to the tank bag depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar's handlebar. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even with assembled tanking, which the use considerably simplifies.

• Safe hold of the tank bag, even at higher speeds
• Mechanical locking enables easy operation
• Clearly audible snaps in the tank bag during assembly
• Unlocking is done by pressing a belt on the tank bag in the direction of travel
• No ABE or entry in vehicle documents in Germany necessary
• Recommended maximum speed with tank bag: 130 km/h
• Maximum payload for the tank backpack: approx. 3 kg

Differences to other tanking systems:

The basic tanking mechanically locks and thus differs from the lock-IT fenuscas, which also work with magnets for centering. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring, with the main difference in the type of fastening dome (plastic versus magnet).

Further information:

It should be noted that tank bags with lock-IT opposite holders cannot be installed on basic tankingen and vice versa. The compatibility between tanking and counter holder must be guaranteed.
