The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic was specially developed for the Aprilia Shiver 900 motorcycle model of the construction years 2017 to 2021. This component is used to attach a compatible tank bag directly to the fuel tank of the motorcycle.

Product features and installation

In addition to the tanking, the tanking basic also includes a customizable counter holder, which is installed depending on the tank shape and the handlebar on the tank bag. The fuel lid remains fully accessible even when tanking is attached, so that the use is not affected.

Comparison with Lock-IT fenkring

The basic tanking differs from the Lock-IT model mainly by the type of locking. While the Basic tanking mechanically locked, additional magnets support the centering of the tank bag on the Lock-IT model. However, both systems use the same model -specific metal ring as the basis.

Please note that tank bags and counterholder must be system -compatible. A lock-IT counter holder is not compatible with a basic tankring and vice versa.
