Overview of the tanking basic from Hepco & Becker for Aprilia RSV4

The Hepco & Becker tanking Basic has been specially developed for the Aprilia RSV4 models (construction years 2011-2020), RSV4 RF/RR (2015-2020) and Tuono V4 1100 Factory (2015-2020). This accessory enables fast and safe attachment of tank bags from the brand on the motorcycle.

Components and assembly

The scope of delivery of the product is the tanking and a adaptable counter holder, which is installed on the backpack depending on the specific tank shape and the handlebar. Even with attached tanking, access to the tank cover remains without restriction.

Characteristics of the tanking basic

• Stable hold, even at high driving speeds
• The assembly takes place through a mechanical locking
• The tank backpack can be easily put on and locked with an audible click
• The unlocking takes place via a belt at the front of the tank bag in the direction of travel
• In Germany, no general operating license (ABE) or an entry is required for the tank bag system
• The recommended maximum speed with assembled tank bag is 130 km/h
• The maximum recommended payload of the tank bag is around 3 kg

Differences to other tankingen

The tanking basic works purely mechanically, while the lock-it tanking is also equipped with magnets for the centering. Apart from the fastening domes, which are either made of plastic or metal, the tankers are identical to their basic construction.

It should be noted that tank bags and counterholder of the same system must be compatible in order to ensure correct function.
