The item from GIVI, specially developed for the Kawasaki Versys 650 from 2006 to 2009, is used to assemble both Monokey and Monolock cases. This rack system is an essential component for motorcyclists who need additional storage space.

Product details

The carrier can be combined with various adapter plates, which are available separately. Plates M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B are suitable for Monokey systems, while plates M5M and M6M can be used for Monolock systems. The use of the EX2M luggage rack made of anodized aluminum is also possible, but is not included in the scope of delivery.

Compatibility and assembly

Mounting the brake lights or a remote control is not possible with plates M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B. Furthermore, the carrier is not compatible with the original side carriers of the motorcycle. The maximum load varies depending on the system used: With Monokey cases, up to 10 kg is possible, but is reduced to 6 kg when using the plates M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B. For Monolock cases the maximum load is 3 kg.

• Mounting plates: Not included and must be purchased separately.
• Compatibility: Only guaranteed for vehicles in their original condition. Accessories from other manufacturers may affect compatibility.
