This specially developed top case carrier from GIVI is compatible with the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin models from 2016 to 2017. It allows the installation of Monokey or Monolock cases, offering a flexible solution for carrying luggage.

Assembly and Compatibility

The carrier can be combined with various GIVI plates to support Monokey or Monolock systems. Plates M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B are suitable for the Monokey variants, while plates M5M and M6M can be used for Monolock cases. In addition, integration into the anodized aluminum luggage rack EX2M is possible, but this must be purchased separately.

When using plates M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B, please note that it is not possible to install additional brake lights or a remote control.

Load limits

The maximum payload varies depending on the system used. With Monokey cases the payload is up to 10 kg. For the plates M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B, the maximum load is reduced to 6 kg. For Monolock suitcases the limit is 3 kg.

Important information about compatibility

GIVI emphasizes that its products have been developed exclusively for vehicles in their original condition. Compatibility with accessories from other manufacturers, such as modified exhaust systems, cannot be guaranteed.
