It is compatible with various GIVI mounting plates, including the Monokey plates M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B as well as the Monolock plates M5M and M6M. The rack can also be used with the EX2M anodized aluminum luggage rack, which must be purchased separately.

The carrier allows a maximum load of up to 10 kg when using a Monokey case. When using the M8A, M8B, M9A and M9B plates, the maximum payload is reduced to 6 kg. The maximum load for Monolock cases is 3 kg.
