1. Preparation

Before you start replacing the clutch train, make sure that the motorcycle is on a stable surface. Switch off the engine and let it cool down.

2. Tools and spare parts

Prepare the necessary tools and the new reinforced clutch train. You need a wrench, pliers, and possibly a cross slot screwdriver.

3. Remove the old clutch train

Find the old clutch train that is attached to the clutch lever and clutch mechanics. Loosen the fastenings and carefully pull out the old train.

4. Install new clutch train

Guide the new clutch train through the appropriate brackets and attach it to both the clutch lever and to the clutch mechanics. Make sure that the train is not kinked or twisted.

5. Setting the clutch train

Set the clutch train so that it has the right tension. You can achieve this by adjusting the adjustment screw on the lever. Check whether the clutch works smoothly.

6. Completion and test

After everything is mounted and set, test the clutch by starting the engine and pressing the clutch. Make sure that it works properly and does not make any noise.

How often should the clutch train be checked?

The clutch train should be checked for cracks and wear at least once a year or after every major journey.

What can I do if the clutch is stiff?

Check the voltage of the clutch train and if necessary. Also make sure that the clutch lever is not blocked.
