To install the new LED blinker, you need the following materials:

Step 2: Preparation of the vehicle

Make sure the motorcycle is on a stable surface. Switch off the engine and remove the key. Separate the battery to avoid short circuits.

Step 3: Remove the old indicators

Carefully screw off the old turn signals and pull the cable plugs off. Make sure not to damage the cables.

Step 4: Installation of the new LED blinkers

Place the new LED blinkers to the places provided and attach them to the screws. Connect the cable plugs of the new turn signals to the cables of the motorcycle.

Step 5: Connection of the resistances

Connect the resistances in parallel with the new LED indicators. Make sure to adhere to the right polarity to ensure optimal function.

Step 6: Checking the function

Connect the battery again and test the new turn signals. Check whether you flash correctly and whether the resistors work properly.

How long do LED turn signals last?

LED blinkers have a longer lifespan than conventional incandescent lamps. If you care, you can last up to 50,000 hours.

Can I install LED indicators without resistances?

It is recommended to use resistors to regulate the flashing of the LED indicators and to avoid an error message in the on -board computer. Without this there can be a faster flashing.
