Step 1: Preparation
Make sure you have all the tools and materials required, including the new LED turn signals, resistances, screwdrivers and a cable cutter.
Step 2: Remove the turn signal housing
Remove the housing of the old indicator. Loosen the screws with a screwdriver and carefully remove the turn signals.
Step 3: Climb old turn signals
Clamp the old turn signals from the wiring. Make sure not to damage the cables because they will reuse them for the new indicators.
Step 4: Connect new turn signals
Connect the new LED indicators to the cables that were previously disconnected. Make sure to consider the correct pole (plus and minus).
Step 5: Install resistance
Install the supplied resistors in parallel with the new indicators. This is important to ensure the right blinking behavior.
Step 6: Functional test
Test the new turn signals by turning on the light. Check whether the indicators flash correctly and no malfunctions occur.
