Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installing the LED blinkers, make sure you have all the necessary tools ready. These include: screwdrivers, pliers, soldering iron (if necessary) and cable ties.

Step 2: Remove the old indicators

Start removing the old indicators. Loosen the screws that hold the indicators in place and pull the cables off. Make sure not to damage the cables.

Step 3: Installation of the new indicators

Use the new LED blinkers into the brackets and attach them to the screws. Make sure you sit firmly and are properly aligned.

Step 4: attach the resistance

The LED blinkers need resistance to keep the flashing frequency correctly. Connect the resistances according to the enclosed instructions to the turn signal cables. Make sure to consider the polarity.

Step 5: Test the indicators

After everything is connected, test the turn signals. Turn on the ignition and press the indicator. Check whether the flashing frequency is correct and all indicators work.

Step 6: Care and maintenance

Check the indicators regularly for functionality and cleanliness. Clean the turn signals with a soft cloth and check the cable connections for corrosion or damage.

How long do LED turn signals last?

LED blinkers have a significantly longer lifespan compared to conventional light bulbs and can last up to 50,000 hours, depending on the quality.

Do I need special resistance for my indicators?

Yes, special resistors are necessary to ensure the correct flashing frequency for LED indicators. These should always be used in connection with LED indicators.
