Step 1: Preparation
Make sure you have all the required tools and materials ready: the new LED indicators, resistances, a wrench, a screwdriver and insulating tape.
Step 2: Remove old indicators
Switch off the motorcycle and remove the turn signals by loosening the screws. Carefully separate the cables so as not to cause any damage.
Step 3: attach new indicators
Place the new LED blinkers to the places provided and attach them to the screws. Make sure you sit tight.
Step 4: Install resistance
Install the resistances near the indicators. These are necessary to keep the flashing frequency stable. Attach them with cable ties or screws.
Step 5: Connect the cable
Connect the cables of the new turn signals to the cables of the motorcycle. Use the insulating tape to ensure that the connections are well insulated.
Step 6: Functional test
Turn on the motorcycle and test the turn signals. Make sure that you work properly and the flashing frequency is normal.
How often should the indicators be checked?
It is recommended to check the indicators at least once a month to ensure that they work properly.
Can the LED blinkers also be used for other motorcycles?
