Step 1: Preparation

Make sure you have all the tools and materials required. This includes the new LED indicators, resistances, screwdrivers, pliers and insulating tape. Also switch off the ignition of the Honda Hornet.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

Start removing the old indicators. Loosen the screws that hold the indicators in their place and carefully pull off the cables. Make sure not to damage the cables.

Step 3: Install new turn signals

Place the new LED blinker to the previous place and attach it to the screws. Make sure that you sit safely and don't wobble.

Step 4: Connect resistance

Connect the resistances to the cables of the new turn signals to ensure a correct function. Isolate the connections with insulating tape to avoid short circuits.

Step 5: function test

Turn on the ignition and test the new turn signals. Check whether you flash properly and whether the turn signal indicator works in the dashboard.

Step 6: Care of the indicators

Clean the turn signals regularly with a soft cloth and mild soap to remove dirt and deposits. Check the connections and cables for damage.
