Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installing the LED blinkers, make sure that you have all the required tools and materials on hand. This includes the new LED indicators, resistors, wrenches, screwdrivers and possibly cable ties.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

Open the motorcycle tail and remove the screws that hold the old indicators. Then carefully separate the electrical connections of the old indicators.

Step 3: Mount new indicators

Place the new LED indicators in the place of the old indicators. Connect the electrical cables, pay attention to the correct polarity, and attach the turn signals to the screws.

Step 4: Install resistance

To ensure correct flashing, install the resistors in parallel with the new turn signal connections. Make sure to isolate the resistance well to avoid short circuits.

Step 5: function test

Start the motorcycle and test the new turn signals. Make sure that they flash evenly and no malfunctions occur.

Step 6: Care and maintenance

Check regularly the function of the turn signals and resistors. Clean the turn signals and make sure that all connections are firmly sitting.

Question 2: What do I do if the indicators don't flash properly?

If the turn signals do not flash properly, check the electrical connections and ensure that the resistors are installed correctly. You may have to check the cabling again.
