Step 1: Preparation

Make sure your motorcycle is on a stable surface. Switch off the ignition and remove the key.

Remove the screws that attach the old indicator to the bracket. Carefully pull off the turn signal and separate the cable connection.

Step 3: Install resistors

Install the supplied resistors. These are necessary to stabilize the flashing frequency. Connect the resistances according to the instructions and secure them in a suitable place.

Step 4: Connect new turn signals

Connect the new LED blinker to the cables and attach them to the screws. Make sure that polarity is correct.

Step 5: function test

Turn on the ignition and test the new turn signals. Check whether you flash correctly and have the right frequency.

Step 6: completion and care

If everything works, secure all the cables and make sure that everything is firmly sitting. Clean the turn signals regularly to ensure visibility.

Can I also use the LED indicators on other motorcycles?

The LED blinkers are specially designed for Yamaha MT models, but may also be used on other motorcycles if the electrical requirements are met.

The lifespan of LED indicators is usually several years, depending on the use and environmental conditions.
