Step 2: Tools ready

Get the necessary tool: screwdriver, pliers, insulating tape, and possibly a soldering iron if you have to connect the cables.

Step 3: Remove old indicators

Switch off the motorcycle and remove the old turn signals by loosening the screws and separating the cables.

Step 4: Install new turn signals

Use the new LED blinkers into the brackets and screw them safely. Make sure you sit well.

Step 5: Install resistance

Install the supplied resistors to prevent flickering of the LED indicators. Connect them to the turn signal cables according to the instructions.

Step 6: Perform the function test

Test the new turn signals by switching on the motorcycle and pressing the turn signals. Check whether all indicators work correctly.

Question 1: Why do I need resistance for LED blinkers?

LED blinkers have less power consumption than conventional light bulbs, which can cause the turn signal to flash faster. Resistance regulate the current flow and ensure a correct flashing frequency.

Question 2: Can I install the indicators myself?

Yes, the installation of the indicators is easy and can be carried out with basic tools. However, make sure that the safety precautions are observed.
