Step 1: Preparation
Make sure you have all the necessary tools and materials ready. These include: a screwdriver, cable cutter, insulating tape and the new LED blinkers with an e-test mark.
Step 2: Remove old indicators
Start removing the old indicators. Loosen the screws that attach the indicators to the motorcycle cladding and pull the cables off.
Step 3: Install LED turn signal
Use the new LED blinkers in the place of the old turn signals. Attach them with the previously dissolved screws and be careful to properly align the turn signals.
Step 4: Connect resistance
Connect the supplied resistances to the LED indicators to regulate the flashing frequency. Make sure to isolate the cables well to avoid short circuits.
Step 5: Test the indicators
Turn on the ignition and test the new turn signals. Check whether you flash correctly and have the right speed.
Step 6: completion and care
After you have ensured that everything works, put the cladding back on. Clean the turn signals regularly to increase your visibility and lifespan.
