Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installing the LED blinkers, make sure you have all the tools you need. This includes a screwdriver, a soldering iron, shrink hoses and the right resistances.

Step 2: Assembly of the turn signals

Start dismantling the old indicators. Loosen the screws and remove the turn signals from the motorcycle. Place the new LED blinker with M8 thread to the intended area and tighten the screws.

Step 3: Connection of the cables

Connect the cables of the new turn signals to the existing cables of your motorcycle. Make sure to correctly assign the colors of the cables (e.g. red too positive and black too negative).

Step 4: attach resistance

In order to ensure the functionality of the LED indicators, the resistances must be installed correctly. Line the resistances into the cable connection and use shrink hoses to isolate the connections.

Step 5: function test

Turn on the motorcycle and test the new turn signals. Check if you flash correctly and no error messages are displayed on the on -board computer.

Step 6: Care and maintenance

To extend the lifespan of the LED indicators, regularly clean them from dirt and dust. Make sure to check the cable connections for corrosion and, if necessary, to solder.

Question 1: Do I need special tools for installation?

To install the LED blinkers, you need basic tools such as a screwdriver and a soldering iron. Optional tools are a multimeter for checking the electrical connections.

Question 2: What do I do if the indicators don't work?

First check the cable connections and make sure that the resistors are installed correctly. Test the turn signals again. If the problem continues, there could be a defective indicator or an electrical problem.
