Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installing the LED blinkers, collect all the tools you need: screwdriver, pliers, soldering iron and the new LED indicators with resistances. Make sure that the motorcycle is on a stable surface and the ignition is switched off.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

Screw the old turn signals by loosening the corresponding screws with the screwdriver. Make sure you pull the cables carefully. Dispose of the old indicators in an environmentally friendly manner.

Step 3: Connect resistance

Connect the supplied resistances to the cables of the new LED blinker. Pay attention to the right polarity and, if necessary, use a soldering iron to establish a secure connection. Isolate the soldering points with shrink hose or insulating tape.

Step 4: Install new turn signals

Use the new LED blinkers to the places provided and fix them with the screws. Make sure you sit tight and don't wobble.

Step 5: carry out the function test

Turn on the ignition and test the new turn signals. Check whether both indicators work correctly and whether the flashing frequency is normal. If necessary, check the connections again.

Step 6: Care and maintenance

To extend the lifespan of the LED indicators, regularly clean them from dirt and dust. Check the function of the turn signals at least once a month and replace defective parts immediately.

How long do LED turn signals last?

LED blinkers usually have a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, which makes it very durable compared to conventional light bulbs.

Can I install the indicators myself?

Yes, the installation of the LED blinkers is relatively simple and can be carried out with basic tools yourself as long as you follow the instructions.
