Step 1: Preparation

Before you start installing the new LED blinkers, make sure that you have all the tools required at hand. This includes a screwdriver, a soldering iron (if necessary), cable ties and the new turn signals with an e-test mark.

Step 2: Remove old indicators

Start removing the old indicators from your motorcycle. Loosen the screws or clips that hold the turn signals and carefully pull off the cables. Make sure not to damage the cables.

Step 3: Install new turn signals

Place the new LED blinkers in the place of the old indicators. Attach them with the corresponding screws or clips and make sure that you sit firmly.

Step 4: Connect resistance

In order to ensure the correct function of the LED indicators, you must connect the supplied resistors. Connect the resistors according to the manufacturer's instructions to the turn signal cables. Make sure to consider the polarity.

Step 5: Functional test

After the turn signals and resistors are installed, carry out a functional test. Turn on the motorcycle and test the turn signals to ensure that you work properly and have the right flashing frequency.

Step 6: Care of the indicators

To extend the lifespan of your new LED blinkers, clean them regularly from dirt and insects. Check the cables and connections for damage and make sure that everything is well fastened.

How often should I check the indicators?

It is advisable to check the indicators with every routine interpection of the motorcycle, but at least once a month.

Can I also install the LED indicators myself?

Yes, with a little technical understanding and the right tools you can install the LED blinkers yourself. However, make sure to follow the instructions precisely.
